Hyperlite Wingman Wakesurf
Designed by Scott Bouchard, the Wingman board is fast and willing to get you airborne with ease. The compact size promotes maneuverability and agility. Can be used as a twin fin or quad fin with smaller fins. Fin placement mimics powerful surfboards to give you great line, speed and explosive acceleration. Butch says, "When you do something, do it to the fullest." The board's compact shape is nimble, yet offers enough lift for beginners. A deep single concave base with a rear channel gives the board plenty of drive, even when you're going straight to the boat. Grab the Wingman, send it up in the air and go big.
Attention! Mechanical damage to the wakesurf caused by riding on obstacles or during jumps can lead to a defect that cannot be claimed under warranty.
Specifications
- Handmade Epoxy Construction – A new construction method with hand-crafted detail at an affordable price. Epoxy wakesurf is made from a foam core covered with epoxy resin. A wooden stringer is placed in the center and the structure is complemented by stronger fiberglass.
- EPS Core – Expanded polystyrene foam creates an extremely light and durable core.
- Carbon Stringer - Carbon stringers strengthen the board, increase its resistance and maintain lightness.
- Dual Deck Reinforcement – Additional layers of laminate reinforce the upper part of the wakesurf and prevent damage.
- Single Concave Base – A single concave creates a channel that enhances board control.
- Vented Tail Channels – Channels that increase traction and maintain flow.
- Quad Fin – Four fins for better handling and more speed (2× 4.5" and 2× 2.5")
- Tail Profile – Wide – The wider the tail shape, the greater the pressure on the wave and the greater the power of the ollie.
- Tail Shape - Winged Outline - This progressive shape increases maneuverability and ollie potential.
- Machined EVA Traction - Corduroy - Ultra-quality EVA foam machined into a ridged surface resembling corduroy increases grip and stance stability.
- FCS II Toolless Fin Boxes – Toolless fin attachment system.
- Butch Customs - Scott Bouchard has been shaping wakeboards for almost twenty years and working with the greatest legends of the sport. Scott's influence on wakeboard and wakesurf shapes is evident throughout the Satellite Beach, Florida-based Hyperlite range.
