O'Neill Slasher Competition Vest
The O'Neill Competition Vest series defies convention and sets a new standard of performance for vest technology. The lightest vests on the water this time around are even lighter, stronger and dry faster than ever before.
Nytrolite foam technology - a low-density polyethylene that expands with nitrogen in an exclusive process and cannot be duplicated. Nytrolite foam is 3x lighter than PVC foam. Its closed cell structure absorbs 15-20% less water. It floats approximately 10% more than PVC, which means we can use less foam in each vest and it will still float the same. These vests are not approved by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) as life jackets.
