Wide Trail (WT)
Maxxis tires based on the Wide Trail construction are optimized for modern wide rims (30-35 mm) . Thanks to this, the tire worn on a wide rim maintains an optimal round profile without unwanted flattening, and thus offers maximum performance.
- Wide Trail tires for trail, enduro and downhill use are designed for rims with an inner width of 35 mm and are compatible with rims 30-35 mm.
- Wide Trail tires for XC use are designed for rims with an inner width of 30 mm and are compatible with 25-30 mm rims.
Tubeless Ready (TR)
If you plan to get rid of excess grams and worries about defects, choose tires with the label Tubeless Ready. They use a compound compatible with sealant and have a reinforcement in the sidewall that strengthens the resistance to puncture. They also feature a special tubeless bead that adheres better to the rim. Tubeless tires can also be used with a tube.
