Burton Step On Split Men's Splitboard Bindings
Optimize the Splitboard Experience
Fewer moving parts means less to worry about. The men's Burton Step On® Splitboard Bindings bring the ease and simplicity of our Step On system to the backcountry. Based on the same easy-to-use Spark Tesla mounting system as our Hitchhiker binding, the Step On model mounts quickly and creates a secure connection between the boot heel and binding in tour mode that makes for an efficient stride on the skin track and reduces boot wear. Less fussing equals faster transitions and more time riding.
*Step On®︎ bindings are ONLY compatible with Step On®︎ boots.
*Burton splitboards are already equipped with mounting pucks. To place bindings on a splitboard from another manufacturer, additional pucks need to be purchased.
Specifications
- Spark R&D Tesla T1 System Baseplate - The simplicity of the baseplate allows for easy transitions between touring and riding mode. The binding slides into the pucks from the side and is then locked with the patented snap ramp lock under the toe of the boot.
- Just Step Right In – The Step On® system creates a clean and simple connection between the boot and the binding that you just step into and click. Toe hooks 2.0 represent two points on the toe, into which you can comfortably click, and the quik-release lever on the hi-back ensures a quick and convenient release. No buckles or straps.
- Mounting system - Burton splitboards are equipped with mounting pucks. To place bindings on a splitboard from another manufacturer, additional pucks need to be purchased.
- Riding - The downhill mounting system is lightweight, easy to adjust and compatible with all pucks on the market.
- Touring - With the Tesla T1 system, changing between touring and riding mode is very easy. With a simple click, you fix the binding in the puck and set up a climbing support for hiking on a steep slope.
- Negative Lean Hi-Back – the highback is designed for the best possible range of motion when touring. After touring, you can easily tilt it and fix it in the riding position.
- Step On Split Quick FLAD™ - The Step On FLAD™ system allows you to micro-adjust the angle of the hi-back to customize your stance for maximum customization for riding and hiking. Available 4 tilt options for riding and 1 negative position for touring mode.
