Arbor Veda Camber Women's Splitboard

Experienced freerider Marie-France Roy knows exactly what the perfect women's splitboard should look like, allowing her to fully express her passion for the backcountry. In fact, that's exactly what the new Veda, which the Arbor team member helped develop, is all about. A powerful splitboard that gives you stability on the climbs and responsiveness and pop on the descents. Like the snowboard variant with which it shares a range of technologies, the Veda splitboard offers a unique blend of flotation, spin and agility.

How to choose splitboard?

Choosing the right splitboard gear is one of the most important steps to getting the most out of splitboarding. That's why we've prepared a How To section in cooperation with #FreerideTV. Today we'll give you advice on how to choose a splitboard, what to wear and how to try to avoid unpleasant situations in the mountains. Let's do it!

Splitboarding is a sport that attracts more and more people. It's an escape from the crowded resorts and a longing for icy silence in the middle of the woods and mountain tops. However, much more than other sports, the right equipment is very important in splitboarding because it can save your life. In addition to the splitboard and bindings, essential equipment includes pucks, climbing skins, poles and avalanche safety equipment.

You can do without them when you first start splitboarding, but in time every enthusiast will appreciate them. And by these we mean crampons. These are used in steep slopes and traverses on frozen surfaces.

The last important piece of the whole puzzle is the the right freeride clothing and avalanche backpack that can comfortably hold your avalanche gear. And how to put it all together and not go crazy, Dominik will advise you in the above mentioned video.
