Arbor Landmark Camber Splitboard

Whether you're heading out on a splitboard mission for the first time or the fiftieth, the Arbor Landmark Camber is always the right choice. This is the latest venture from Arbor that combines performance and precision craftsmanship. Thanks to the 4-Point Camber System, this split is great to climb and even better to descend. A playful board whose nose will sail through powder with ease, you'll enjoy a light, fast and clean ride thanks to the premium base and reliable Karakoram Ultra clips.

Specifications

  • Flex: 6/10
  • 4-point System Camber: traditional camber for precise ride and high pop
  • FSC Certified Highland Split Core: Arbor's highly versatile Highland Core with added reinforcement and center components for lightness, performance and durability
  • Sintered Base: a higher molecular weight base that provides greater durability and speed
  • Universal Splitboard Insert Packs
  • 1 cm Taper: a shaping technique that narrows the profile of the snowboard towards the rear contact points. Tapered snowboards will have a wider nose and narrower tail, allowing the tail of the board to sink into deeper snow for better float and track retention
  • 360 Degree Fully Wrapped Sidewalls: technology that extends the life and durability of the board
  • Recycled Steel Edges: highly durable, recycled edges embody two of Arbor's core values: quality and sustainability.
  • Bio-resin: origin in by-products and waste products of other industrial processes. It is manufactured using eco-friendly chemical processes reducing the material's carbon footprint by up to 40% (compared to a petroleum-based resin equivalent).
  • Wend Natural Wax: all Arbor snowboards are ready to ride immediately thanks to the Wend Natural Wax layer

How to choose splitboard?

Choosing the right splitboard gear is one of the most important steps to getting the most out of splitboarding. That's why we've prepared a How To section in cooperation with #FreerideTV. Today we'll give you advice on how to choose a splitboard, what to wear and how to try to avoid unpleasant situations in the mountains. Let's do it!

Splitboarding is a sport that attracts more and more people. It's an escape from the crowded resorts and a longing for icy silence in the middle of the woods and mountain tops. However, much more than other sports, the right equipment is very important in splitboarding because it can save your life. In addition to the splitboard and bindings, essential equipment includes pucks, climbing skins, poles and avalanche safety equipment.

You can do without them when you first start splitboarding, but in time every enthusiast will appreciate them. And by these we mean crampons. These are used in steep slopes and traverses on frozen surfaces.

The last important piece of the whole puzzle is the the right freeride clothing and avalanche backpack that can comfortably hold your avalanche gear. And how to put it all together and not go crazy, Dominik will advise you in the above mentioned video.
