Specifications

  • Flex: 7/10
  • Powder: 5/5
  • Big Mountain: 5/5
  • Resort: 5/5
  • System Camber: camber that is known and loved for good control and perfect edge hold even in the sharpest curves
  • 3° Fenders: lifted contact zones for better carving and powder floating
  • Hand Dyed Ash Powerply: structured ash wood top layer
  • Universal Splitboard Insert Packs
  • Highland Split Core: Most versatile core, constructed with a 1:2 blend of poplar and paulownia, for super lightweight performance, durability, and return.
  • Mixed Glassing: A triax over biax lay–up that’s best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps, and more.
  • Karakoram UltraClip: Karakoram’s premium splitboard clip is powerful, easier to use, and lighter. Once joined, the UltraClip fully constrains the seam of your splitboard to eliminate seam rattling, seam shearing, and seam rolling. The lever locks in the touring position as well to eliminate unwanted movement on the ascent.
  • 360° Fully Wrapped Sidewalls: A 360–degree, fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.
  • Sintered Base: A higher molecular weight, sintered base that provides added durability and speed.
  • 1.0 cm Taper: a shaping technique that narrows the profile of the snowboard towards the rear contact points. Tapered snowboards will have a wider nose and narrower tail, allowing the tail of the board to sink into deeper snow for better float and track retention
  • Wend Natural Wax: All Arbor snowboards are immediately ready to ride thanks to a layer of Wend Natural Wax.
  • Bio Resin: A replacement for traditional petroleum based resin that does not affect performance or usability. The ingredients that go into Entropy Bio Resin are obtained as by-products or waste products from other industrial processes and are produced using green chemistry techniques that reduce the material's carbon footprint by up to 40% compared to petroleum-derived equivalents.
  • Recycled Steel Edges: Highly durable, recycled steed edges embody two of Arbor’s key values: quality and sustainability.
  • R.A.P. Topless Technology - a production process that eliminates the need for Bio-Plastic Topsheet technology, resulting in a lighter and more ecological board.
  • Manufactured with 100% Solar Energy

How to choose splitboard?

Choosing the right splitboard gear is one of the most important steps to getting the most out of splitboarding. That's why we've prepared a How To section in cooperation with #FreerideTV. Today we'll give you advice on how to choose a splitboard, what to wear and how to try to avoid unpleasant situations in the mountains. Let's do it!

Splitboarding is a sport that attracts more and more people. It's an escape from the crowded resorts and a longing for icy silence in the middle of the woods and mountain tops. However, much more than other sports, the right equipment is very important in splitboarding because it can save your life. In addition to the splitboard and bindings, essential equipment includes pucks, climbing skins, poles and avalanche safety equipment.

You can do without them when you first start splitboarding, but in time every enthusiast will appreciate them. And by these we mean crampons. These are used in steep slopes and traverses on frozen surfaces.

The last important piece of the whole puzzle is the the right freeride clothing and avalanche backpack that can comfortably hold your avalanche gear. And how to put it all together and not go crazy, Dominik will advise you in the above mentioned video.
