- Upper - A combination of recycled PET bottle material and leather sourced from farms that practice sustainable land management, support biodiversity, the natural water cycle and carbon sequestration. Vans supports responsible farming through the Leather Working Group.
- Midsole - At least 50% of VR3Cush™ is USDA BioPreferred EVA foam
- Outsole - 60% of the VR3Waffle™ compound comes from naturally sourced rubber on sustainable farms. The outsole is designed to maintain strong grip and high durability.
- Improved fit – a new shoe shape and an ergonomic support frame, complemented by a cushioning midsole and tongue made of specially designed foam for increased comfort.
