This lightweight shoe offers you perfect protection from moisture thanks to the GORE-TEX membrane, and the VIBRAM® outsole guarantees advanced and reliable grip with protection even on rough terrain and rugged terrain. The EVA midsole absorbs shock superbly and gives your foot optimum cushioning and protection. The shoe is also ready for steep descents, plus it fits great right out of the box thanks to the anatomical shaping of the shoe and insole.

Anatomical and Precise Fit

• C.A.S. construction in the area of the arch, arch and heel is adapted for individual shaping.
• The magma upper and insole are pre-molded around a specific anatomical model to provide a great feel and fit right out of the box.
• This anatomical fit also provides greater midfoot support and heel hold.
• Highly durable yet lightweight construction with a classic tongue design for faster slip on combined with an integrated lacing system for an even better fit.

Durability and Stability

• XO-SHIELD outsole developed with innovative VIBRAM® LITEBASE™ technology and MEGAGRIP™ rubber compound
• The unique multi-traction outsole tread pattern, inspired by mtb enduro tyre designs, made with VIBRAM® LITEBASE™ technology and MEGAGRIP™ compound rubber, offers optimal grip on all surfaces and in both dry and wet conditions.
• It wraps around the upper in critical abrasion zones and provides grip, traction and durability not only underfoot, but also on the toe and sides.
• All this without additional weight or bulk and without the need to use a conventional glued rubber frame.
• The very large shape of the heel ensures excellent stability during hiking and downhill running and on technical traverses.
• Two rubber stabilization lamellas on either side of the back of the shoe ensure an unrivaled level of braking on technical descents, even on scree, gravel or loose rock.
