Ortovox Avabag Cartridge Activation Unit

Lightweight activation unit for avalanche backpacks, compatible only with Avabag system from Ortovox.

* Although ABS units have the same thread and volume, they are filled under different pressure and gas volume. Therefore, it is not possible to use the ABS activation unit with the Avabag system.

Transportation by plane

The Cartridge activation unit is approved for transportation according to rules of IATA / ICAO 2.3.A. It is necessary to report the transportation of the activation unit well in advance of the departure to the airline.

• full: 338.3 g (+/- 5g)

Service

After the Cartridge has been emptied, it must be replaced. Replacement of the empty activation unit can be done in our store for a fee of 700 CZK (approx. 27 €). We are also able to exchange the unit and send it through cash on delivery, in this case the price will be 790 CZK. The exchange of units is also possible in Austria, Italy, Switzerland and other countries.
