Nidecker brings recipe for a relaxing life! Well, that may be a strong statement, but they definitely made a great video on how to enjoy Mellow's new backcountry board. Take a look for yourself.
The short film A Guide to Mellow Livin' was shot on the Japanese island of Hokkaido and the world champion Mathieu Crépel demonstrates in it how to enjoy a proper freeride.
Travel freely, travel light, listen to the weather and your stomach. Get up early and enjoy local dishes. Pursue life and it will find you!
New Nidecker Mellow
The board on which Mathieu cuts Japanese powder so wonderfully is called Nidecker Mellow and is the latest backcountry weapon of this famous Swiss brand.
For the 2020/21 season, this board has been given a new shape so that it can cut arches in open terrain even more accurately and zigzag between trees. The Mellow with a camrock bend will make you feel like on a surfboard in the powder, while its wide tip will make it easier to land on the front and allow you to maintain speed.
This impression is further enhanced by the tasteful design of the natural wood veneer complemented by discreet graphics.
The used materials prove that it is a top board. The Master Core consists of a masterful combination of different woods to achieve the perfect ratio of weight and performance. The N-7000 sintered base was developed exclusively for Nidecker and contains carbon nanoparticles. The premium sandwich construction is reinforced with carbon and Kevlar.
