Becoming a pro skater is not easy, but Rowan Zorilla's talent, like skateboarding itself, goes beyond the ordinary. Welcome the pro-model skate shoe Vans Rowan Pro.

At a time when everyone seems to be doing skateboarding, crossing the line from an ordinary skater to a pro is not only unlikely, but almost absurd. Maybe it's an interesting name or a recognizable style of riding, but Rowan Zorilla has something intangible in him, and so is his skating career.

Vista in California may seem just like another pin on the world map, but in skateboarding it will forever be associated with the H-Street legend (the first skateboarding company run by the skaters themselves) and perhaps some of this DNA remains in Rowan's blood. He can adapt to any skateboarding moment while retaining his unique personality. And that's exactly what skateboarding is all about.

Rowan's crew Shep Dawgs has become recognized in the skateboarding community thanks to a successsion of indie videos. Rowan's multi-tasking was undeniable, quickly earning him a pro status. It went on with two Thrasher covers in a year, as well as a "Skater of the Year" nomination. The rest is (a recent) history.
