SNOWBOARD ZEZULA SPRING SESSION 2019

This year's, the 4th annual SNOWBOARD ZEZULA SPRING SESSION fell on the weekend of 22-24 Match 2019. Yes, this very weekend was also the very last of this season at SkiBukovka. And to be honest, we couldn't even wish for a better finish of the winter season!

This whole weekend madness started on Friday evening. The great Shapers crew has managed fine-tune the platform in Gravity Snowpark Bukovka into a complete TOP so it was enough to light it up for the evening and the obstacle setup was ready to be tested. The boys decided not to wait for anything, and they nailed it right during the first night session. All of this was captured by the eye and lens of Milan Diška. Filip Valachovič also made sure to have some footage of this amazing performance.

Compared to previous years, we also had one great advantage. In addition to the setup, the resort also provided a children's ski tow for all riders, so we didn't have to wear ourselves by treading and could ride 100%. A smaller party followed, where we had a chance to fine-tune the last details for the Saturday's event.

Early in the morning, we unpacked our tent with our Gravity Snowboards and Arbor Snowboards testcentre under the slope. The local team started the registration and the participants slowly started to gather. From the very beginning, the area was immersed in great mood, the music was carried through the air and the sun was burning. We couldn't even plan it better.

The riders began to slowly get familiar with the setup and the good mood kept rising with drinks from the local "apré". At about one in the afternoon, a mass session in the park started. All the riderz smashed it, there was one bomb after another, and the audience was cheering excitedly. This jam lasted for about two hours and was attended by about 30 riders. The categories were divided into 3 top snowboard riders, as well as 3 freeski riders, 1 girl.

The whole park frenzy couldn't end up differently than by the best trick. It was acquired traditionally by Štěpán Pruša. That's about all from the Saturday on the hill, but the day wasn't by far over yet. A mass migration to the local bar by the ski slope followed, where we celebrated the end of the event and the season, too.
