We have been supporting the twins Ondra and Dan Porkerts since 2007 and they have become the part of our snowboard team. The so-called Porkertmen have made it to the peak of the Czechoslovak snowboarding. So let‘s have a look at them! Nowadays they have been riding under Arbor snowboards.

Why these models?

Ondra has tested the Westmark for one year and has fallen in love with this model. The board is playful and is made in an extraordinary shape. It‘s suitable for riding in park and jumping. On the contrary, the Draft model is soft, the composition of the base is different and is perfect for street riding. The board is on the slope in it‘s element.

Chosen shoes and bindings

What are the main pros?

It has taken a while to Porkert Bros to get used to the new type of bindings. Especially the change from Flow which doesn‘t use ratchets was difficult. The Arbor Hemlock binding is a softer version of men‘s bindings – therefore it shows remarcable results in freestyle snowboarding. The boys have already experienced the Flow Helios shoes, so choosing the new model Nidecker Helios was reckless. Comfortable and firm shoes are the foundation of the whole snowboarding equipment.

Helmets and goggles Bern

The helmet Bern Team Macon was made for the wishes of team riders, who often ride with a beanie under the helmet. And Porkert Bros are not the exception, so this model was the first and only choice.

Goggles are very important part of the sports equipment and it‘s necessary to focus on choosing the right colour of the lenses. The Bern Eastwood goggles offer in the basic equipment two lens options: the first one has lower light transmission and is suitable for sunny days. The second one, equipped with higher light transmission, is great in bad weather conditions or for riding at night under artificial lighting.
