Waxing your snowboard at home may seem all Greek to you at the first glance. With the right instructions and accessories from us you can easily do it on your own. What's more, regular waxing protects your base and makes it easier to ride. Come have a look with us on how it actually works.
The right equipment is the foundation for success. First of all, you will need a wax remover and textile paper or a cloth. Thanks to these you can easily remove the remains of the old wax from the entire snowboard.

When you are done, prepare the wax and iron - just heat to the required temperature you will find on the wax cover. Place the snowboard with its base upwards and fasten it so that it does not move randomly. Then apply the wax to the iron and drip it evenly over the entire length of the base. Drip the wax carefully over the entire surface of the base. Allow the wax to stiffen for at least 15 minutes.

And now comes the fine-tuning of the details! In the last part, you will need a wax scraper, a brush and a piece of cloth or paper again for wiping the wax off. Apply the scraper at an angle of 45 degrees and scrape any excess wax off in the riding direction. The brush then polishes the wax in the riding direction and wipes the excess wax dust off. That's it! You can also use a polishing cork block to fine-tune the details and polish the board perfectly. Finally, you can also make sure that all the screws are firmly in place and set out on your favorite hill.
