Push your standards for bike brakes. You might not expect the improvement that can be made just by changing pads and discs. But the Spanish brake experts at Galfer will show you that it can be a whole new level.

The Galfer brand is no newcomer - it has been making brake components since 1952 and has been making bicycle brakes since the 1990s. It was even behind the birth of the first hydraulic bike disc brake! Today, Galfer brakes are used to win top competitions in endurance, cross-country and other cycling disciplines.

If your braking performance isn't enough, you're heavier or you have racing ambitions, try Galfer brake pads and discs and you'll see a change. If that's still not enough, upgrading to a larger disc is also an option, as Galfer also offers brake adapters to change the disc diameter.

Choosing Brake Pads

All Galfer brake pads offer you a number of advantages:

  • They are made from an organic semi-metallic mixture without asbestos
  • Quiet operation
  • Provide improved braking feel, progressivity and braking power
  • Produce minimum vibration
  • Resist high temperatures
  • Have increased durability

The key to optimum brake efficiency and life is the right choice of brake pads. That's why Galfer offers several types of compound clearly marked with different colours.
