How to Register your Santa Cruz Bike for a Lifetime Warranty

Santa Cruz bikes come with a lifetime warranty as the first owner, but you have to register it on the manufacturer's website. How to do that?

Bringing home a brand new Santa Cruz bike is a great joy, but before you hit the trail, we recommend taking a few minutes to register. It takes place on the official form on the manufacturer's website. If you're not a fan of forms, we don't blame you at all, but here are at least a few pointers on how to get through the whole process.

Details of the Bike

Start with the specs of the machine that just started calling you sir. From the drop-down menus, select the product type ( bike/frame/accessories), model, version, wheel size, material, frame size, colour and model year.

Then you need to enter the serial number of the frame. When you buy a bike at SNOWBOARD ZEZULA, we will be happy to tell you your frame number. But if you need to find it on your bike, try the following options.

Where to Find the Frame Number on a Santa Cruz Bike?

• At the bottom of the bracket you will see a sticker with a QR code and number. Just scan the QR code or type in the number. That's your serial number!
• Some older models or used bikes may not have a sticker or may not be visible. In that case, the serial number on carbon full suspension models can be accessed as follows:
  • Take off the rear wheel
  • Remove the lower shock bolt
  • Compress the swing arm until you get a clear view of the serial number
• Serial numbers for carbon frames are located above the bottom bracket on the main triangle
• The aluminium frames have a number stamped under the bottom bracket. Similarly, it is also placed on carbon hardtails.
• Your serial number is also located on the box your bike was shipped in.

Copy all the characters of the frame serial number - numbers and letters! The number of the main frame triangle is given.

Then choose if you have Reserve carbon wheels and upload a photo of your new bike. Surely you already have that.

Purchase Details

In this section, you'll describe a few things about getting a bike. Just specify whether it was bought new or used, select the region, enter the price, currency and date of purchase. For a valid registration Santa Cruz still requires a scan of the proof of purchase.
