The Ortovox brand is a professional in the production of backpacks and proves it with every new model. The Peak Light 38 S is a lightweight and durable backpack that is at its best in the mountains for hiking, mountaineering and ski mountaineering.

It delights with full technical equipment, functionality and comfort, as well as the new SWISSWOOL HYBRID BACK system, which takes care of moisture and sweat wicking, so your back is well taken care of. The system combines nature and technology thanks to a panel made of technical foam and SWISS WOOL thermally compressed wool, which is also protected by a 3D fabric. This keeps your back dry even on demanding climbs.

The word "Light" in the name is not just for the sake of it. In addition to stability and wearing comfort, the pack offers a particularly light weight of 1250 g, which can be further reduced to 860 g by removing the lid, the waist strap, the wire construction of the back panel and other fastening elements. This makes the pack a versatile companion for the mountains.

The materials used, 50% recycled 420D RIPSTOP + 100% recycled 420D polyamide, are extremely resistant to abrasion and tearing, while the pack is also waterproof thanks to the PU coating. A zipper around the entire perimeter of the backpack ensures that you can access your gear from virtually anywhere. The standard ORTOVOX mountain gear can't be missed either, including an emergency card, chest strap with whistle, compression straps, light lining of the main compartment and a ski attachment loop.

Back system

• SWISSWOOL HYBRID BACK SYSTEM combines premium materials with the latest technologies for maximum comfort during wear. The back system consists of a removable duralumin structure, technical foam and three zones of SWISSWOOL wool at the points of contact with the back - wool absorbs 29 times more sweat than ordinary foam. Physiotherapists also participated in the development.
